Senior Design & Development Engineer (m/w/d)

As part of our dynamic growth, we are looking for you as a Senior Design & Development Engineer (m/w/d)

Your Profile:

• university degree in engineering or technical training (specialization in mechanical engineering) or a comparable qualification
• very good specialist knowledge in the field of design and component design
• several years of professional experience in design with 3D-CAD software as well as handling a product data management system, preferably SolidWorks and SW-PDM, additionally AUTO CAD 2D
• know-how in the development of machines, systems, and electromechanical drives in the small machine sector.
• good English skills in spoken and written form
• high willingness to travel in the Asian region / headquarters China

Your Tasks:

• independent design of components and assemblies
• development of product concepts in an international environment
• coordination, support, and advancement of development projects in cooperation with our locations
• selection of suitable system components and cost-optimized realization of the required function
• creation of 3D models, drawings, and presentations with German and English text
• continuous improvement of our solutions, for example, with regard to accuracy and performance
• research and analysis of trends
• responsibility for monitoring compliance with technical requirements
