Project Director- FLNG

Role Overview:

Camarine is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a major FLNG EPCIC project from proposal and engineering through procurement, fabrication, integration, installation, commissioning and handover.

The role will provide overall leadership of the integrated JV team, ensuring delivery against HSE, schedule, cost, quality and contractual objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integrated JV project team, including organization, responsibilities, reporting and escalation structures.
• Develop and implement the overall FLNG execution strategy, project organization, integrated schedule, resource plan and delivery approach.
• Direct engineering, procurement, hull and topsides fabrication, module integration, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover activities.
• Manage interfaces between the client, JV partners, engineering contractors, technology providers, suppliers, shipyards and commissioning teams.
• Oversee project controls, progress, cost, budget, cash flow, forecasting, change management, risks and recovery plans.
• Drive HSE, quality, construction completion, mechanical completion, system handover and punch-list closeout.
• Manage contractual and commercial matters, including variations, claims, notices and partner responsibilities.
• Act as the senior project representative with the client, JV partners and key contractors.

Requirements:

• Extensive senior project leadership experience in major offshore EPC/EPCIC projects.
• Substantial hands-on FLNG project experience is essential.
• Proven experience across FLNG engineering, fabrication, integration, commissioning and handover.
• Strong understanding of LNG topsides, FLNG hull/marine interfaces, modular construction, yard integration and start-up.
• Experience managing large multinational teams and multiple contractors across international locations.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, planning, commercial management, risk and contract administration.
• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Willingness to be based initially in Abu Dhabi and relocate to Singapore during construction, with regular travel across Asia.
