Programme Manager (Youth)

Responsibilities General Understand, imbibe & promote C3 mission, vision and values Plan and carry out initiatives to achieve programme desired outcomes Evaluate, review & refine initiatives to improve programme effectiveness Recruit, manage and engage volunteers for programme Promote, engage and secure partners and clients for programme Specific : to conceptualise, plan and customise youth programmes, especially GEAR-UP. Gear-Up programmes are run in Secondary schools to provide customised support and after-school engagement, and strengthen students' social-emotional competencies and social skills to develop life-skills and mentoring programmes to be involved in programme development and evaluation to supervise a team of youth workers to work with volunteers in providing value added services to youth to work with other stakeholders to support programmes and services to youth Core Competencies: Possess a strong passion for mentoring Ability to lead and motivate others to support and achieve common goals Ability to coach and mentor staff in identifying training and developmental needs to develop new competencies Good project and stakeholder management Candidate Requirements Degree holder / Masters Degree in Social Work / Social Science Experience in leading teams in conceptualizing and delivery of youth programmes Ability to translate and analyze strategic goals and objectives into operational or team plans Proficient in Microsoft Office Core Competencies: Possess a strong passion for mentoring Able to lead, motivate and mentor others to support and achieve common goals Able to coach and mentor team members to deliver training and developmental outcomes Good project and stakeholder management Preferred achievements / characteristics:
