Operations Executive Dry Bulk, Singapore

We are seeking a Junior Operations Executive to support the worldwide operations of Capesize bulk carriers. Working with the Operations Manager and commercial team, you will help execute voyages safely, efficiently and in accordance with charter party requirements. The fleet includes conventional fuel vessels and may include vessels using LNG, methanol, biofuels or other emerging fuels. There are opportunities to learn new operating practices and technologies. Responsibilities Coordinate the worldwide operations of allocated Capesize vessels with masters, owners, charterers, brokers and port agents.

Plan voyages, including cargo intake, port rotation, bunkers, fuel consumption and routing; issue voyage instructions and schedule updates.

Execute voyages in accordance with time charter parties, voyage charter parties and contracts of affreightment.

Monitor vessel performance and handle post-fixture matters, including freight and hire invoices, laytime, off-hire and claims.

Prepare voyage profitability reports and support vessel accounting, customer vetting and fuel efficiency initiatives.

Learn and support operations involving conventional and alternative marine fuels. Requirements Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience, with at least three years in dry bulk or related vessel operations.

Hands-on Veson IMOS experience, including voyage accounting and invoice issuance.

Working knowledge of charter party terms, laytime, off-hire and relevant maritime requirements.

Strong numerical, communication and coordination skills, with basic vessel accounting knowledge.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to work independently and collaborate with the commercial and operations teams.
