Kalnit's experts are recruiting for a leading defense company in Israel for a significant and interesting role! A bit about the role Responsibility for planning and formulating IT solutions and end-to-end infrastructure architecture, while adapting to project needs, technological requirements, and organizational standards. Accompanying projects from the tender and planning stage through to implementation, Delivery, and deployment.

Your tasks

Planning IT architecture and infrastructure solutions, including writing HLD, LLD documents. Evaluating new technologies and solutions, performing POC, and developing building blocks and generic infrastructures. Technological accompaniment of projects throughout their lifecycles, including performing surveys and providing answers to engineering challenges. Working with organizational interfaces, development teams, DevDecOps, Cyber, IT infrastructure, suppliers, and manufacturers.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in planning IT architecture and computing and communication infrastructures for complex systems. Proven experience in planning end-to-end solutions, writing design documents, and performing technological surveys. Deep knowledge of computing infrastructures, servers, storage, networking, Windows \ Linux operating systems, virtualization, and backup solutions. Familiarity with Micro Services architecture and K8S platforms such as RKE2, OpenShift, and EKS. Familiarity with VMware, Nutanix (advantage). Familiarity with databases and monitoring arrays. Familiarity with Ansible automation tools and Infrastructure as code. Broad systemic vision, analytical ability, planning skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. High-level technical English. Advantage: Relevant professional certifications, Hands-On experience, familiarity with HPC, Ansible, and Tracing systems.
