Your tasks

As part of its development, Cailabs is looking for an Information Systems Manager (ISM) to take charge of the operational management of the IS and support its evolution.

Reporting to the CIO, you will be their permanent relay within the company and ensure the daily management of the IS function.

You will have broad operational autonomy within your scope and, alongside the CIO, contribute to the orientations and evolution of the information system.

You will be the manager of an IS team currently composed of a support technician, a systems & networks administrator, and an application project manager.

Management and steering of IS activity

• Manage the IS team on a daily basis: organization, prioritization, and coordination of infrastructure, support, and application activities
• Monitor workload and capacity, arbitrate priorities, and report to the CIO
• Structure and evolve working methods
• Make operational decisions within your scope and prepare arbitrations requiring a decision from the CIO or Management.

Operations, projects, and IS architecture

• Guarantee the availability, quality, and continuity of the IS: infrastructures, networks, M365/Azure environments, support, providers, incidents, changes, and operational documentation
• Drive the technical evolutions of the IS and infrastructure projects, ensuring their proper execution and consistency with the company's needs
• Manage the portfolio of technical and application projects, notably relying on the application project manager for the management of ERP and business projects
• Ensure the interface between business units, the IT team, publishers, and integrators
• Monitor workloads, priorities, and arbitrations necessary for the proper execution of projects, and support change management
• Contribute to architecture choices, challenge provider solutions, and occasionally handle complex technical subjects, ensuring the overall consistency of the IS.

Governance, cybersecurity, and new usages

• Contribute with the CIO to the roadmap, budget, IS mapping, risk management, and management indicators
• Prepare the necessary elements for Management arbitrations
• Ensure the operational implementation of security requirements, in connection with the CIO and, eventually, the CISO
• Contribute to the identification and experimentation of new digital usages, particularly around AI, and support their implementation and adoption by the teams.

Requirements

Above all, we are looking for an operational, autonomous, and pragmatic person, capable of understanding the company's challenges, gaining perspective on technical subjects, arbitrating priorities, and moving projects forward.

This position is intended for someone wishing to maintain close proximity to technology while developing a broader vision of management and the steering of an information system.

Experience

• You have 7 to 12 years of experience in information systems, ideally acquired in an industrial environment
• Initial managerial experience, even with a small team, is essential
• You have evolved in an environment that has led you to intervene on varied subjects, work with providers, and take into account business challenges beyond your sole technical scope.
• You have a solid technical foundation allowing you to understand, challenge, and arbitrate subjects regarding infrastructure, networks, Microsoft 365/Azure/Entra, identity management and SSO, cybersecurity, integration, and IS architecture
• You have a good understanding of ERP and application integration challenges
• You are proficient in English at an advanced level
• Knowledge of development is a plus.
