International Installation & Maintenance Engineer M/F - CAILabs

Faced with the evolution of our international projects, we are strengthening the team responsible for installing our high-tech systems all over the world. Your role will be essential: you will make the deployment of complex technological systems possible on international sites, which are often sensitive and strategic. You will work on cutting-edge equipment combining optics, mechanics, electronics, and robotics, at the heart of concrete projects where every installation counts. You will ensure the complete installation of our systems, from the field to reporting, with a direct contribution to continuous improvement and maintenance operations.

Mission Preparation

• Take over during the FAT at the factory
• Perform Site Surveys / Infrastructure Surveys
• Train on the technical specificities of the systems
• Challenge the maturity of the equipment (Production, V&V, Technical) and propose constructive improvements
• Occasionally contribute to the integration of OGS as well as custom projects

Deployment at Client Site

• Present the solution and support the client, embodying the Cailabs image in the field
• Ensure user training
• Manage the logistical follow-up of equipment (disassembly, packaging, transport, reception)
• Physically install the systems (mechanics, electronics, cabling)
• Perform tests, ensure troubleshooting
• Conduct the SAT and validate site acceptance

Reporting and Capitalization

• Write intervention reports and adapted documents, particularly on custom projects.
• Actively contribute to feedback and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with internal teams: V&V, Production, Logistics, Purchasing, Quality, Technical, Methods

Travel of 3 to 6 weeks, estimated 1 to 5 times per year. For corrective maintenance missions: more frequent and less scheduled travel.

Technical Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a demanding industrial environment
• Knowledge in one of the following fields: Networks / Programming, Optics – Lasers – Microscopy, Automation, Robotics / AI, Mechanics / BTP, Industrial Maintenance, Medical, RF – SatCom-Radar, Electronics
• Operational field experience: Field Service Engineer, Customer Support Engineer, Field Engineer, International Support…

Soft Skills

• Appetite for international missions
• Ability to understand a technology currently increasing in maturity
• Advanced English
• Rigor, calmness, team spirit, good communication, autonomy, and adaptability
• Interests: motivation for international and field missions, taste for complex technical projects.
