Environmental Compliance Officer (M/F)
As an Environmental Compliance Officer, you will ensure the regulatory compliance of an ICPE classified industrial site and actively contribute to the control of its environmental impacts.
Your main missions are as follows:
- Guarantee the site's compliance with the Arrêté Préfectoral d'Autorisation (AP), particularly regarding waste, aqueous and atmospheric discharges, as well as compensatory measures
- Ensure the regulatory management of saturated products and their transport
- Establish acceptance and storage procedures
- Drive the monitoring of waste flows
- Contribute to the preparation of regulatory reports
- Manage notification files for transboundary transfers
- Monitor environmental impacts (discharges, noise, etc.)
- Ensure coordination with administrative authorities (DREAL) and service providers
- Ensure the monitoring of compensatory measures (ERC) and regulatory monitoring.
Profile sought: With a higher education background in environment, industrial risks, or regulatory affairs, you have at least 3 years of experience in an industrial environment, ideally related to classified installations (ICPE) and/or waste management.
You have mastered French environmental regulations as well as the main applicable international regulations, notably REACH, CLP, ADR, and transboundary waste transfers.
You possess a professional level of English allowing you to operate in an international context.
Rigorous, autonomous, and organized, you know how to manage complex regulatory issues while collaborating effectively with various stakeholders. Possessing good interpersonal skills, you enjoy teamwork and demonstrate a true spirit of cooperation.
Scientific knowledge, particularly in chemistry or industrial processes, will be appreciated in order to understand product properties and associated reactions.
