Corporate Communications Manager / Senior Corporate Communications Specialist

The Corporate Communications Manager/Senior Corporate Communications Specialist will lead external communications initiatives to strengthen the company’s brand, reputation and market presence. The role involves developing communications strategies, managing corporate messaging, supporting executive thought leadership, and driving engagement across digital channels, media and industry events. Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, the position will help position the company as a leading global, utility-backed energy trader while supporting broader business objectives.
THE ROLE
Brand & External Reputation
- Develop and implement an external communications strategy that strengthens company's brand, reputation and visibility across priority audiences.
- Create compelling corporate messaging and content, including but not limited to executive communications, articles, presentations, corporate materials and digital content, ensuring consistency across all external channels.
- Manage external communications activities, including but not limited to media engagement, press materials, stakeholder communications and reputational issues, working closely with shareholder communications teams where appropriate.
Digital Communications & External Engagement
- Drive the company's external digital communications, including but not limited to corporate social media, digital campaigns and online content, using performance insights to continuously improve engagement and reach.
Executive Profile & Thought Leadership
- Identify and deliver opportunities to raise the profile of senior leaders through thought leadership, speaking engagements, media opportunities and industry participation, including but not limited to conferences, panel discussions and corporate events.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to develop clear, engaging communications that support strategic business priorities and reinforce the company's market positioning.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree-qualified communications professional with 5–8 years of relevant corporate communications experience
Experienced corporate communications professional with a proven track record in developing and delivering external corporate and brand communications strategies within complex, multinational environments. Skilled in creating high-quality executive communications and thought leadership content, while managing multiple projects and building strong relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
Experienced communications professional with a strong ability to develop compelling, audience-focused content across press releases, executive messaging, presentations, fact sheets, digital channels and visual assets. Skilled at translating complex commercial and market information into clear and engaging communications, with experience supporting B2B external communications across media relations, digital platforms, conferences, sponsorships and industry events.
Experienced communications professional with demonstrated expertise in media relations, reputation management, and external communications across conferences, sponsorships and industry events. Strong understanding of B2B communications, with experience in or exposure to the energy, commodities, financial services, or related industries advantageous.
