Our Technology Platform Engineering area

The Technology Platform Engineering area is responsible for building and evolving the platforms, internal products, and shared capabilities that accelerate software development throughout the organization. We act transversally alongside the Engineering, Developer Experience, SRE Experience, Cloud Engineering, FinOps, Security, and Architecture teams, creating scalable, secure, and standardized solutions that enable the delivery of products with quality and speed. We are expanding our scope into the Artificial Intelligence universe, structuring the capabilities, standards, and platforms that will allow for the secure, efficient, and scalable adoption of AI across the bank's entire engineering department.

Your activities as a CSixer

• Be a technical reference in building the AI strategy and platform for Engineering, supporting the definition of vision, reference architecture, standards, and best practices.
• Develop internal components and products that accelerate AI adoption by engineering teams, such as SDKs, frameworks, agents, accelerators, templates, libraries, and self-service platforms.
• Design and implement integrations with foundational models, generative AI services, and agent platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and governance.
• Act hands-on in the development of solutions using modern languages and advanced software engineering practices.
• Define standards for the development of AI-based applications, including observability, model evaluation, governance, security, and cost management.
• Work together with Developer Experience, SRE Experience, Security, Architecture, and FinOps teams to create an integrated experience for consuming AI services.
• Lead studies, proofs of concept, and innovation initiatives involving Generative AI, autonomous agents, RAG, copilots, and intelligent workflows.
• Define governance mechanisms, responsible use, and compliance for applications that use AI.
• Mentor engineers, disseminate technical knowledge, and influence architectural decisions at an organizational scale.
• Monitor market trends, the evolution of cloud platforms, and new AI Engineering approaches, evaluating their applicability within the organization's context.

Requirements and experience

• Consolidated experience acting as a technical reference or specialist in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Solutions Architecture.
• Strong experience in software development using at least one modern language (Python, Java, Go, C# or Node.js).
• Practical experience with the construction and integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions in corporate environments.
• Experience with LLMs, agents, RAG, embeddings, vectorization, model evaluation, and orchestration frameworks.
• Solid knowledge in distributed architecture, APIs, microservices, messaging, and system integration.
• Experience with AWS and its main computing, data, network, and security services.
• Experience with cloud AI services, especially Amazon Bedrock and related ecosystems.
• Knowledge of Platform Engineering, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Knowledge of security applied to AI, including sensitive data protection, governance, auditing, traceability, and risk mitigation.
• Advanced English for reading, technical communication, and following global documentation and references.
• Differentials: Experience in building internal platforms for large-scale AI consumption.
• Experience with AI Engineering, Agentic AI, and multi-agent platforms.
• Knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, and operational evaluation of AI-based applications.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
• AWS certifications or certifications related to Generative AI.
• Participation in technical communities, open source contributions, or publications related to AI and Platform Engineering.
