Your tasks

• We are looking for a Senior Azure Engineer! Role: Senior Azure Engineer Technologies: Microsoft Azure + Terraform / ARM-Bicep + Ansible Schedule: 9 to 18 hs or 10 to 19 hs, with on-call shifts (1 week per month, paid)

Requirements

• What are we looking for? A Senior Azure Engineer who acts as the technical focal point for the Azure platform: manages cloud design documents (servers, storage, network, and backup), develops and executes the infrastructure capacity plan, leads the root cause analysis of recurring incidents, and defines the automation and continuous improvement strategy. They will also participate in DRP exercises, manage ticket escalation with Microsoft, and mentor team members.

• Mandatory requirements:
• 8 or more years of experience in IT infrastructure operations, with a minimum of 4 years in Microsoft Azure
• Mastery of Azure services: VM, AKS / Container Instances, Azure Database and CosmosDB, Blob Storage, Load Balancer / Application Gateway, Functions, Logic Apps, Queue Storage, Service Bus, and Azure Backup
• Design and governance of cloud operations at scale (capacity plans, operational architecture, standards, design document review)
• Cloud networking: VNET, subnets, NAT Gateway, VPN Gateway, Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute / VNET Peering
• Infrastructure as Code (ARM / Bicep and Terraform) and automation with Ansible and scripting (Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
• Experience leading the technical relationship with the cloud vendor and critical escalations
• Knowledge of ITIL V4 and ITSM tools (ServiceNow or equivalent)
• Experience in DRP exercises and business continuity in regulated environments
• Previous experience in technical leadership or coordination of cloud operations teams
• Intermediate-advanced technical English
• Schedule flexibility, on-call shifts, and activities outside of working hours
• Availability to work on Argentine holidays that do not coincide with those in Colombia
