BA SQL Server Semi Senior
We are looking for a Semi Senior SQL Server DBA to join a long-term project, participating in the administration, optimization, and support of critical databases in corporate environments. We are looking for professionals with experience in SQL Server, administration of production environments, and high availability, with the ability to guarantee the availability, security, and performance of databases.
Modality
Hybrid. Attendance is 1 time per week. Offices in CABA Candidates from other provinces are accepted.
Schedule
Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 hs (Argentina).
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and update SQL Server in Windows environments.
- Administer production databases ensuring availability, performance, and security.
- Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Manage backups, restores, and recovery plans.
- Manage replication, AlwaysOn Availability Groups, and SQL Server clusters.
- Monitor performance and perform database tuning.
- Execute capacity planning and storage administration.
- Implement Microsoft best practices and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide support to critical databases in production.
Mandatory Requirements
- More than 3 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
- Experience administering SQL Server in Windows environments.
- Experience in production environments of medium or large companies.
- Solid knowledge in:
- SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
- SQL Server Replication.
- SQL Server Clustering.
- Backup and Recovery.
- Performance Tuning.
- Monitoring and administration of SQL Server.
- Knowledge of Windows administration.
- Intermediate or higher English.
