Senior Oracle DBA

We are looking for a Senior Oracle DBA to join a long-term project, participating in the administration, optimization, and support of critical Oracle databases in an enterprise environment. We are looking for professionals with extensive experience in Oracle administration, high availability, performance tuning, and complex incident resolution, with the ability to interact with international teams.

Modality

100% Remote.

Schedule

Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 hs (Chile Time).

Up to one week of on-call duty per month.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, update, and administer Oracle databases.
  • Administer and maintain Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard environments.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.
  • Analyze and optimize Oracle database performance.
  • Manage incidents, changes, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Perform capacity planning and detect improvement opportunities.
  • Administer Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM / Cloud Control).
  • Manage Oracle GoldenGate and tools within the Oracle ecosystem.
  • Document procedures and provide technical support.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and international stakeholders.

Mandatory Requirements

More than 10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.

Solid knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration.

Experience administering:

  • Oracle RAC.
  • Oracle ASM.
  • Oracle Data Guard.
  • Oracle GoldenGate.
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM / Cloud Control).

Experience with RMAN, SQL*Plus, Data Pump, and Oracle administration tools.

Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, backups, restores, and database recovery.

Experience planning upgrades, migrations, and maintenance.

Intermediate/advanced English (B2-C1) to interact with Oracle support via chat or calls.
