Responsibilities and duties

The Technical Buyer will be responsible for:

• Conducting technical and strategic purchasing processes for materials;
• Acting in the purchase and negotiation of industrial commodities, focusing on machined parts, castings, and stamping; Negotiating prices, deadlines, contracts, and commercial conditions with national and international suppliers;
• Actively working in the development, qualification, and management of suppliers, including technical, commercial, and performance evaluation;
• Working in an integrated manner with the engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and projects areas;
• Analyzing technical feasibility, costs, production processes, and supplier capacity;
• Conducting cost reduction (savings) projects, nationalization, dual sourcing, and continuous improvement;
• Supporting internal, client, and supplier audits.

Requirements and qualifications

To occupy the position of Technical Buyer, you need:

• Completed higher education; Solid experience in technical purchasing (mechanical items and items according to drawings);
• Proven experience with supplier development, qualification, and management;
• Experience in medium and large-sized industrial environments, preferably multinationals;
• Knowledge of machined parts and stamping;
• Reading and interpretation of technical drawings;
• Medium and high-value commercial and contractual negotiation;
• Strategic supplier management;
• Advanced English; Advanced Excel and cost analysis;
• Creation and monitoring of purchasing indicators.
