Responsibilities and assignments

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of IT systems and digital applications of the factory in Brazil, acting as the main interface between the global IT strategy and local business needs.
  • Administer the local portfolio of digital assets, ensuring the operation, governance, and evolution of industrial applications, including MES, IoT, SAP, WMS, and other corporate systems, in alignment with the global technology strategy.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the manufacturing, quality, logistics, warehousing, and other business areas, performing requirements gathering, demand analysis, and proposing technological solutions aligned with operational needs.
  • Lead the implementation, localization, promotion, and adoption of the factory's main corporate systems, including SAP, MES, IoT, cloud platforms, WMS, TMS, GTS, OA, COP, QMS, RCS, and other digital solutions, ensuring their adequacy to local processes.
  • Manage the operation of the factory's IT services and solutions, including industrial automation systems, manufacturing execution systems, and integrations with ERP, ensuring compliance with service levels (SLA), operational stability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct digital transformation and smart manufacturing initiatives, promoting automation, Lean digitalization, and the evolution of the industrial plant's digital maturity.
  • Support medium and long-term technological planning, identifying trends, new technologies, and innovation opportunities that support future business needs.
  • Coordinate suppliers, multidisciplinary teams, and simultaneous projects, ensuring the delivery of solutions within established deadlines, costs, and quality standards.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Completed higher education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation, IoT, or related areas.
  • Desirable experience in IT projects in an industrial environment, digital transformation, or implementation of corporate systems in multinational companies.
  • Solid knowledge of industrial corporate systems, including ERP, SAP, MES, WMS, QMS, IoT, cloud platforms, and OA, as well as integrations between systems.
  • Knowledge of APIs, ESB, message queues, and other integration technologies.
  • Understanding of manufacturing, quality, logistics, warehousing, industrial maintenance, and supply chain processes, with the ability to identify digitalization and process improvement opportunities.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, databases, information security, and data governance.
  • Knowledge of LGPD and other Brazilian regulations related to technology and data protection will be considered a differentiator.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, IT service management (ITIL), and conducting all phases of system implementation, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation (go-live), support, and incident resolution.
  • Intercultural communication skills, problem analysis, decision-making, and team management.
  • Advanced or fluent English, with the ability to operate in a global environment.
  • Availability to work on-site in Camaçari/BA.
