Responsibilities and duties

The business-oriented IT Analyst will focus on managing complex requirements, alignment between multifunctional stakeholders, as well as prioritization based on deliveries, process optimization, and governance of the demand lifecycle until the result is achieved.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead complex and multifunctional initiatives, acting as a functional reference for business systems and processes across different domains.
  • Facilitate the prioritization of demands based on value, supporting decisions on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs aligned with the business strategy.
  • Map and optimize end-to-end processes, ensuring adherence between organizational objectives, solution design, and operational execution.
  • Manage the requirements lifecycle, including change control, impact analysis, and traceability between initiatives and versions.
  • Act as a senior key user and functional specialist for the platforms under their responsibility, understanding configurations, integrations, and operational limitations.
  • Validate solution designs, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria, ensuring adherence to real business needs.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies, monitoring corrections, validations, and functional approval for production entry.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level analysts, disseminating best practices in analysis, documentation, and system usage.
  • Support post-implementation evaluations, promoting lessons learned and continuous improvement of processes and solutions.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Degree in a related field; postgraduate studies in Business Analysis, Information Systems, or Management will be considered a differentiator.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, functional leadership, or related roles, working in high-complexity environments.
  • Strong capacity for facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution, promoting alignment between multifunctional areas and strategic stakeholders.
  • Experience in industrial, regulated, or highly integrated environments, with strong interdependence between processes and systems.
  • Advanced analytical capacity for end-to-end process evaluation and impacts on systems, teams, and organizational structures.
  • High level of autonomy, critical thinking, and responsibility in conducting analyses and generating value for the business.
  • Collaborative profile, with the ability to guide less experienced professionals and act as a reference in analysis best practices.

Additional information

  • Certifications in: IIBA CBAP, Advanced BPMN, SAFe / Agile BA will be considered a differentiator.
  • Advanced English is required due to frequent interaction with Chinese nationals at the plant, as well as global teams.
