Lead Buyer (m/f/d)

Do you want to do more than just manage purchasing, but strategically develop it and achieve measurable impact? As a Lead Buyer, you will take responsibility for versatile strategic purchasing and actively shape topics such as supplier management, digitalization, cost optimization, and sustainable procurement. In doing so, you will encounter an environment where E-Procurement, TCO, and modern purchasing strategies are not just buzzwords, but real levers for efficiency and long-term corporate success.

What we need you for

• Development and implementation of strategies for Technology/Investments (Buildings/Machinery), C-Parts, E-Procurement, Energy, Packaging, Gastro, Logistics, IT & Communication, Marketing, Fleet, Disposal
• Supplier management via service and Capex partners: Selection, qualification, performance control; strategic partnerships
• Price and contract negotiations with suppliers
• Savings and efficiency programs: TCO approaches, E-Auctions, bundling, standardization, automation (Guided Buying, catalogs, etc.)
• Co-design, digitalization, and standardization of the P2P process (catalogs, eInvoicing, approval workflows)
• Close cooperation with Operations, Maintenance, Facility, IT, HSE/ESG, Finance, Legal, HR, and Logistics

What you ideally bring with you

• Completed studies or comparable training, ideally experience in the strategic purchasing of a manufacturing company
• High level of initiative, assertiveness, and strong team orientation
• Excellent negotiation and contract competence
• Willingness to undertake (international) business trips
• Business fluent English in spoken and written form
• Proficient use of MS Office, ideally supplemented by SAP knowledge
