BW Gestão de Investimentos (“BWGI”) is a subsidiary of Brasil Warrant S.A. (“BWSA”), a proprietary capital manager responsible for the administration of investment funds established in Brazil and abroad.

BWSA is an investment holding company that operates in the banking, agricultural, mining, consumer, and infrastructure sectors, through companies such as Itaú Unibanco, Alpargatas, and Companhia Brasileira de Metalurgia e Mineração (“CBMM”).

1. About the Vacancy

We have an open opportunity in the Tech for Business vertical to develop data engineering solutions and support the conduction of the Data Normalization project agenda.

The project aims to normalize and organize the different data sources used by the company.

Currently, certain information may be distributed across different databases and consumed by distinct areas.

The initiative seeks to establish a single source of truth, standardizing the way this information is made available and consumed.

This involves:

reorganization of data sources;

definition of standardized structures;

development of the necessary interfaces for consumption;

migration of systems that currently use other sources;

interaction with the areas impacted by the changes. The professional will play an important role in both the technical construction and the conduction of these changes alongside the areas.

#Job Requirements

Academic Background | Completed Higher Education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.

Previous Experience | 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering or data in general.

Language: Advanced English

#Technical Requirements

Solid experience in Data Engineering.

Knowledge of Python — the professional needs to have development capability, but the position is not directed toward a pure Python Developer profile.

Mastery of SQL.

Experience with PostgreSQL.

Experience with Snowflake.

Experience with Apache Airflow.

Knowledge of data pipelines.

Knowledge of analytical and transactional databases
