Community Programs & Operations Intern
About the Role
We want our community to do more than introduce people to Manus. We want to help them learn, complete useful tasks, and keep exploring the product.
Working with the Community Team, you will support the global Manus community through program delivery, member support, and storytelling, while bringing user needs and feedback back to the team. With guidance, you will also take responsibility for small, clearly scoped projects from preparation through delivery and review.
What You'll Do
- Deliver community programs: Support Fellow recruitment, selection, onboarding, and ongoing communications. Coordinate event preparation, materials, and post-event submissions, keeping next steps clear and work moving.
- Turn user feedback into insights and follow through: Gather bug reports, product suggestions, learning needs, barriers to use, and valuable use cases from community discussions, events, and member conversations. Add missing context and, with guidance, prioritize feedback and coordinate with the relevant internal owners through to a clear conclusion. Communicate progress and outcomes back to members.
- Help members participate and use the product: Support online communities, workshops, product demos, and office hours. Understand where members get stuck, help them find resources and complete tasks, and follow up on their continued use. Handle routine matters under community guidelines and escalate complex issues to the relevant owner.
- Tell the stories behind member achievements: Find compelling use cases and user stories, and turn them into community updates, event recaps, and social content that clearly communicates product value and member contributions.
- Support other community initiatives: Help deliver occasional community campaigns, identify promising community partnership opportunities, coordinate community merchandise design, preparation and distribution, and use AI tools to build or improve community operations tools and workflows.
About You
You care deeply about people. You genuinely enjoy connecting with community members, are willing to help people from different backgrounds, and bring strong empathy and communication skills to building lasting relationships based on trust.
You have led a large event or a project. You have taken a lead role in a large event, community program, or other project, and can clearly explain your own contribution, the results, and what you learned. Student clubs, volunteer experience, and personal projects count.
You are an excellent cross-functional collaborator who follows through. You can align priorities across teams, establish clear owners, next steps, and timelines, and follow through to results.
You can find meaningful insights in scattered feedback. You identify recurring issues and valuable signals, prioritize them, and clearly explain your reasoning.
You use Manus and work effectively with AI. You explore the product independently, use a range of AI tools proficiently to improve operational efficiency, and check that outputs are accurate and usable.
You communicate clearly and professionally in written English and Chinese. You can write member replies, event information, community content, and internal summaries.
You are available to work three to five days a week for at least six consecutive months.
Bonus If You
- Have participated in or helped run Discord communities, forums, ambassador programs, or creator communities.
- Have user stories, community content, AI projects, or simple automation workflows you can demonstrate.
When applying, include one project you contributed to. Briefly explain what you did, how you assessed its effectiveness, and one change you made in response to feedback.
