Machine Setter / Operator Plymouth Salary: Up to £33,487 Permanent Position Monday to Friday | Rotating Shift Pattern Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm Are you an experienced Machine Setter / Operator looking for a stable, long-term career within a successful manufacturing environment? Working as part of a busy production team, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining manufacturing equipment, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The Role Set and operate manufacturing machinery across various production cells Change tooling, jigs, and fixtures in line with production requirements Carry out first-off inspections and quality checks Load and unload components from machinery Monitor machine performance and production output Identify and report machine faults, breakdowns, and abnormalities Ensure products meet quality and engineering specifications Complete production documentation accurately and on time Maintain excellent housekeeping standards Adhere to all health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures About You Previous experience as a Machine Setter, CNC Setter, Production Setter, or Machine Operator with setting experience Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach Understanding of health and safety requirements within a production environment What's On Offer Salary up to £33,487 Permanent, full-time position Monday to Friday working pattern Alternating early and late shifts Overtime opportunities (where available) Training and development support Career progression opportunities within a growing business Supportive and well-established manufacturing environment This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Machine Setter / Operator to join a company that invests in its people and offers clear opportunities for long-term career development.
