Distributed Service Engineer

At Business Insights we are looking for a Distributed Services Engineer with solid experience in Active Directory administration, infrastructure services, and complex technological environments.

Your tasks

💻 What will your mission be? You will be part of an international technological environment, contributing to ensuring the availability, security, stability, and evolution of infrastructure services in the EMEA region.

Your main responsibilities will be

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Active Directory environments, including multiple forests, domains, and trusts.
• Manage infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, NPS, RADIUS, and Certificate Authorities.
• Participate in migration, consolidation, and evolution projects of directory services.
• Resolve complex incidents regarding infrastructure, connectivity, and authentication.
• Implement security measures, hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage incidents, changes, and problems through ServiceNow, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Develop automations and scripts to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with international infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity teams.
• Participate in a 24x7 global support model, with on-call shifts according to service needs.

Requirements

We are looking for a technical profile with analytical capacity, an orientation toward incident resolution, and experience working in international, critical, and high-availability environments.

🎯 What are we looking for?

• Technical training in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Between 5 and 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration.
• At least 3 years of experience in Active Directory and distributed services.
• Experience administering complex AD environments with multiple forests and trusts.
• Solid knowledge of DNS, DHCP, NPS, RADIUS, and PKI.
• Experience with scripting and automation, preferably PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux/RHEL, and VMware environments.
• English mandatory: minimum B2 level (exclusive), with the ability to communicate orally and in writing in an international professional environment.
• Analytical capacity, autonomy, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Microsoft, VMware, Red Hat, or security certifications.
• Experience with tools such as Qualys, Skyhigh, and Cisco.
• Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps.
• Experience in monitoring, alerting, and high availability.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid environments, and identity management.
• Experience with VPN, Citrix, and remote access solutions.
