Senior R&D Engineer | Metallurgy & New Alloy Development (Medical Company)

About the Role Join an innovative materials engineering environment where you will drive the development of advanced metal powders, explore new alloy systems and develop next-generation powder manufacturing technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams on R&D initiatives, new product development and customer projects. Key Responsibilities Lead powder development projects and explore new alloy systems and powder manufacturing techniques.

Drive research and development initiatives to improve material properties, manufacturing processes and product performance.

Manage technical projects to ensure timely delivery, budget compliance and quality standards.

Collaborate with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders on technology development and new product introduction.

Analyse experimental data and material characteristics to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Mentor team members and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Manage R&D project budgets and optimise resource allocation.

Represent the organisation at industry conferences, technical seminars and networking events.
