Responsibilities:
Outreach, Student Engagement and Student Life
- Coordinate and support outreach activities and events, including Open House, Tea Parties, school visits and campus tours, ensuring smooth planning and execution
- Provide administrative and logistical support for events and student initiatives, including venue bookings, procurement of consumables and corporate gifts, and compliance with relevant university policies and procedures
- Support student engagement programmes and initiatives aimed at enhancing student involvement, satisfaction and overall well-being
- Monitor and administer budgets for student interest groups, ensuring expenditures comply with university guidelines
- Process and administer student claims in a timely manner
Admissions and Scholarships
- Process admissions applications and coordinate admission and scholarship interviews
- Prepare and collate scholarship-related documents and interview materials
- Coordinate the administration of Chemistry entrance examinations
- Maintain databases and records relating to scholarship offers and acceptances and admissions outcomes
- Generate and analyse statistical reports on student admissions and enrolment
- Coordinate engagement activities for scholarship recipients and prospective students
- Support outreach and engagement efforts with prospective students to facilitate informed decision-making
- Respond to enquiries from prospective students, parents and other stakeholders
- Any other ad-hoc work as assigned by the team.
Requirements:
- Diploma qualification with at least 1–2 years of relevant experience in student recruitment, outreach, admissions and student engagement, preferably within the higher education sector
- Strong organisational, coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Resourceful, proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
