About the Role
Our client is an established company expanding its presence in the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sector . They are looking for an experienced Head of Logistics & Supply Chain to build and lead the logistics function supporting major regional and international projects.
This is a strategic leadership role covering project logistics, supplier expediting, material management, warehousing, international freight and site logistics . You will work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Project Management and Construction teams to ensure materials and equipment are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the company's logistics and supply chain strategy.
- Build and manage the logistics, materials and expediting team.
- Oversee project logistics for semiconductor and advanced manufacturing projects.
- Manage supplier expediting and delivery of critical and long-lead equipment.
- Oversee warehouse, inventory and material control operations.
- Manage international freight, customs clearance and logistics service providers.
- Establish logistics processes, KPIs and reporting systems.
- Support project planning, site mobilisation and construction requirements.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders and logistics partners.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
- Drive logistics cost optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Support regional expansion and development of the company's logistics capabilities.
