Conservation Assistant (Paintings, 6 Months)

Work Location: 32 Jurong Port Road, Singapore 619104 Monthly Salary: S$3000-3500/Month About the Role You will join the Paintings Section, working closely with its members and report to the Conservator. Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8:15am to 5:30pm Key Responsibilities Carry out condition assessments, documentation (including photography) and minor treatments on artworks and artefacts, following HCC procedures Carry out treatment preparation and preventive conservation work for storage or exhibition, including: mounting re-housing stretcher assembly canvas flattening Provide administrative support, such as printing, scanning, uploading conservation documents and filing hard copies as requested Any other ad-hoc duties and projects assigned Job Requirements At least a recognised Diploma. A background in art, or prior conservation-related training or internship experience, is an advantage Able to handle fragile materials with a high degree of manual dexterity and sensitivity Able to multi-task, organise and prioritise work within a given timeline EA License No.: 96C4864 Reg.
