Computer Engineer - Production Support

Important technology company is looking for a Computer Engineer to work in its offices located in Santiago centro.

Main functions of the professional:

• Act as the first line of analysis and solution for situations that affect or may affect the operational continuity of services, complying with defined SLAs.
• Extract, structure, and prepare information from available data sources, using complex SQL queries to respond to operational, management, or authorized third-party requirements.
• Analyze anomalies, discrepancies, and errors in information flows, identifying their origin through queries to databases, logs, reports, and other technical sources, and execute or coordinate troubleshooting actions.
• Provide technical assistance to the Production Unit to maintain the stability and correct functioning of systems in the production environment.
• Prepare statistical information, reports, and indicators for clients, business areas, supervisors, and management, supporting management processes and decision-making.
• Perform server capacity metrics, tuning, review of platform queries, and analysis of hardware incidents or associated components.

Education and experience:

• Professional degree in Ingeniería Informática, Ingeniería en Computación, or an equivalent engineering career in the IT area.
• 5 years of experience in the functions of the position.
• Experience in support and maintenance functions of computer/production systems.
• Proficiency in SQL.

To consider: Monday to Thursday 09:00 to 18:30 hrs. Friday departure time: 16:30 hrs. Hybrid work schedule. Special schedule. 1 week per month of full availability for emergencies.

Requirements

• Minimum education: University / I.P. / C.F.T.
• 5 years of experience
• Languages: English
• Knowledge: Linux, Sql server, Windows server
