Material Control In-charge. Bilingual - Calama

Asian engineering company seeks to incorporate a Bilingual Material Control In-charge to work at a Substation in Calama

Functions:

• Reception of Materials and Field Delivery: Organize and participate in the reception and counting of materials and equipment arriving in the field, verifying quantities, the packing list, and the documentation accompanying the load.
• Storage Supervision: Verify compliance with the segregation and distribution of materials in the various storage areas, ensuring they are correctly identified and can be located quickly. Supervise the storage conditions of the materials, verifying compliance with long-term storage requirements, such as protection against rain and solar exposure, as well as the correct preservation of labels and identifications.
• Support in Packaging Opening Inspection and Reception: Participate in the inspection of the opening of equipment packaging, recording its exterior state, quantities, and the documentation accompanying the equipment, and preparing the corresponding packaging opening reports. In case of detecting damage, deterioration, or anomalies, record videos and photographs according to the established procedure, complete damage records, and coordinate the signature of conformity from the involved parties.
• Documentation and Background Management: Collect, organize, and manage the technical documentation accompanying the equipment, including certificates of conformity, inspection and testing reports, quality documents, and other background information related to the supply.

Training and experience:

Degree in Logistics Technician, Logistics Administration Technician, or a related career. Previous experience in the mentioned functions is desirable. Intermediate-advanced level of English in written, comprehension, and conversational levels is indispensable. Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Contract modality: Subcontract Work modality: 100% on-site in Calama (near María Elena) Schedule: 5X2 shift. Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30 hrs.
