Junior Procurement Analyst Food Industry - Coronel

A company in the food industry, located in Coronel, is looking for a Junior Buyer to join the Procurement team, supporting supplier management, purchase orders, and requirements associated with product supply. The position will have a support and coordination role, working closely with the Procurement, Logistics, Planning, Supply, Finance, and Quality areas, contributing to the correct development of purchasing processes and supplier follow-up.

Main functions:

• Support the planning and management of purchases, contributing to adequate supply and inventory use.
• Follow up on purchase orders and requirements, verifying dates, quantities, and conditions agreed upon with suppliers.
• Request, collect, and organize supplier quotations to support purchasing processes.
• Enter, update, and maintain information regarding purchases, suppliers, products, and contracts in databases and management systems.
• Support the preparation of reports and statements based on information available in the company's systems.
• Review documentation associated with suppliers and purchasing processes, in accordance with internal procedures.
• Coordinate and maintain communication with different internal areas to facilitate the correct execution of purchases.
• Support the resolution of routine operational situations, escalating more complex cases to the corresponding supervisor.
• Maintain communication with national and international suppliers, producers, manufacturers, and food processors.
• Perform other activities related to the position that are assigned by the supervisor.

Education and Experience:

• Professional degree in Ingeniería Civil, Comercial, Industrial, Logística, or a related field.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in similar roles.
• Ideal experience in the food industry, salmon industry, or handling perishable raw materials.
• English level B2 conversational, mandatory.
• Excel intermediate level.
• Dynamic, proactive profile with adaptability.
• Commercial orientation, interest in negotiation, and motivation for professional development.
