Purchasing Analyst

We are looking for personnel for the position of Market and Purchasing Analyst for a company in the sector in San Cristobál de las Casas.

Job Requirements:

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, Logistics, Economics, or a related field,
• Necessary experience in Purchasing, procurement, planning, inventories, or commercial analysis.
• Availability of schedule and to travel.
• Professional image and excellent presentation.
• Ease of communication with different areas of the company.

Knowledge for the position:

• Advanced Excel, Power BI, ERP, or administrative system
• Administration and control of inventories.
• Foreign trade and imports.
• Purchasing and procurement.
• Basic Incoterms.
• Costs, margins, and profitability.
• Intermediate English.
• Management of ERP or administrative system.
• Demand analysis (Forecast)
• Preparation of executive reports.
• Commercial indicators (KPIs).

Functions and activities of the position:

• Sales analysis. Review recent sales behavior by product, category, and/or brand.
• Conduct market research to identify suppliers, products, and trends.
• Inventory analysis. Review stock, rotation, high and low demand products, and coverage levels. Evaluate purchasing opportunities by volume, promotions, or special discounts.
• Identification of products to buy. Determine which products require replenishment and justify the suggested quantity. Deliver proposal.
• Identification of excess inventory. Detect products with excess stock or low rotation. List of products.
• Follow-up on critical products. Follow up on products close to running out or with high demand.
• Weekly report.

We offer:

• Base salary of $13,000.00 - $15,000.00 gross (negotiable) + statutory benefits.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday from 09:30 am to 19:00 pm and Saturdays from 09:30 am to 15:00 pm.
• Workplace: San Cristobál de las Casas.

• Minimum education: Higher education - Bachelor's degree
• 1 year of experience
• Age: between 25 and 35 years
