SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST
You will serve as a Supervisory Administrative Specialist in the US NAVAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE.
Major duties
- You will lead a team in delivering holistic, proactive support through synchronous and asynchronous student interactions.
- You will direct and review the work through the establishment of clear priorities and measurable milestones, ensuring equitable workload distribution across programs of study and operational cycles.
- You will manage and evaluate the performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure successful completion of work assignments.
- You will design and improve coaching playbook, standard operating procedures, and knowledge management articles to ensure accuracy, applicability and excellence.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing comprehensive academic and career advising to adult and non-traditional student populations, specifically active-duty military service members, veterans, and military-affiliated learners; 2) Designing, evaluating, and standardizing operational coaching playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge management repositories; 3) Developing and enforcing quality assurance (QA) frameworks across synchronous (telephonic, virtual conferencing) and asynchronous (CRM, ticketing systems, email) communication channels; and 4) Executing evidence-based student retention, persistence, and continuation programs; supervising, mentoring, or team-leading student coaches and guidance counselors through structured performance evaluations and feedback mechanisms. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: completed one full year of graduate level education.
