You will serve as a CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER of US NAVAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

Major duties

  • You will develop and implement strategic, long-term operational plans and direct institution-wide administrative and operational programs.
  • You will manage multiple enterprise organizational functions, including facilities, business operations, and administrative services.
  • You will provide executive-level advice and recommendations to senior leadership on organizational performance, policies, and priorities.
  • You will oversee contracts, agreements, procurements, and infrastructure assets to ensure robust institutional support.
  • You will manage and allocate personnel, financial budgets, and key organizational resources to support mission-critical priorities.
  • You will lead cross-functional initiatives involving senior leadership, academic faculty, and external educational organizations.
  • You will develop, implement, and evaluate policy frameworks, performance metrics, and strict operational controls.
  • You will provide direct supervision through subordinate supervisors, establishing performance standards and developing staff.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the following type of duties: 1) Developing and implementing strategic, long-term operational plans and leading institution-wide administrative programs, facilities, financial/business operations, and support services; 2) Providing executive-level advice and strategic recommendations to senior leadership on organizational performance, resources, policies, and operational priorities; 3) Overseeing contracts, agreements, procurements, infrastructure assets, and allocating personnel and financial resources across multiple organizational functions; and 4) Leading cross-functional initiatives involving senior executives, academic faculty, external stakeholders, and providing direct supervision through subordinate supervisors and managers.
