As the domestic intelligence service of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz (BfV) makes a significant contribution to the security of its citizens.
To strengthen our teams in Nürnberg, we are looking for a
Liaison Officer (m/f/d)
for liaison activities at the BAMF
Your Tasks
You will act as the central interface between the BfV and the Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF) as well as the authorities located there. In doing so, you will play a key role in the continuous development and coordination of information exchange.
The receipt, examination, and preparation of security-relevant information, as well as its targeted management, are part of your area of responsibility. Furthermore, you will process inquiries and concerns from specialist departments towards the BAMF and actively participate in interrogations at home and abroad.
Another important component of your activity is the training and sensitization of BAMF employees regarding the interests of the BfV.
Your Profile
You possess German citizenship and have
- as a civil servant (Beamtin/Beamter), the career qualification or the requirements for the recognition of the career qualification for the upper non-technical administrative service of the Federation or
- a Bachelor's degree in the fields of administrative sciences (general / internal administration) or Public Management.
Furthermore, we expect:
- good knowledge of relevant legal foundations (including GG, ND-Recht, Verwaltungsrecht)
- confident appearance, persuasiveness, social competence
- very good communication and teamwork skills combined with a high degree of commitment and initiative
- willingness to perform independent field service activities
- very good English skills
Knowledge in the field of foreign law as well as the structure and working methods of the BAMF and the BfV is desirable.

Salary and Perspective
- Permanent employment in pay group 11 TV EntgO Bund (annual gross salary from €55,078.36 to €81,615.33)* as well as the possibility of later civil service status
- Assumption of civil servants up to A 11 BBesO A, provided the career law requirements are met
- Payment of an intelligence service allowance
*depending on the possibility of recognizing the degree and previous experience
