Manage end-to-end execution of dry bulk voyages for both time and voyage chartered vessels.

  • Coordinate with vessel Masters, charterers, and agents to ensure smooth voyage operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with the terms and conditions of the Charter Party.
  • Issue detailed voyage instructions to the vessel as per the Charter Party requirements.
  • Coordinate pre-arrival formalities with agents and local port authorities.
  • Oversee loading and discharging operations at ports, including draft surveys and cargo supervision.
  • Review and manage all cargo-related documents such as Bills of Lading, Mate’s Receipts, and Statement of Facts.
  • Ensure timely issuance and submission of all required paperwork to charterers, shippers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate laytime records and calculate demurrage/despatch as applicable.
  • Prepare and submit laytime statements and relevant supporting documentation.
  • Monitor bunker consumption and plan bunker supply in accordance with voyage requirements.
  • Coordinate bunker deliveries and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory fuel specifications.
  • Track vessel speed, weather conditions, and fuel consumption throughout the voyage.
  • Identify and report vessel performance issues, and coordinate with technical managers or owners for resolution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for operational matters with owners, charterers, surveyors, and port agents.
  • Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and resolve operational issues such as port delays, cargo discrepancies, weather disruptions, or vessel breakdowns.
  • Escalate urgent or critical matters to management promptly, with recommended solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date voyage records in the company’s internal systems.
  • Prepare and share voyage completion reports and operational summaries with the management.
  • Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, including SOLAS and MARPOL.
  • Monitor vessel documentation and certification to ensure regulatory compliance at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all commercial, operational, and internal information, and ensure such data is treated with the utmost discretion. Disclosure to any external party is strictly prohibited unless authorized in writing by the company.
