Our client is an established A1 Main Contractor in Singapore, undertaking building construction projects
Job Responsibilities
- Manage quantity surveying and commercial matters for building construction projects.
- Prepare tender documents, cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender evaluations.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Manage progress claims, variation orders, contractual claims and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs and budgets to ensure effective cost control.
- Prepare and submit progress payment claims and assess subcontractors' payment applications.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on contractual and commercial matters.
- Assist with contract administration, cost reporting and commercial risk management.
- Maintain proper documentation of contractual correspondence, claims and project costs.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Relevant quantity surveying experience with a main contractor, preferably on building construction projects.
- Good knowledge of tendering, cost estimation, contract administration, variation claims and final accounts.
- Familiarity with construction contracts and local construction practices.
