Your tasks
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate architectural works for building construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and site teams to resolve design and technical issues.
- Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submissions and technical documentation.
- Monitor architectural work progress and ensure activities are completed according to project schedules.
- Coordinate architectural works with structural and M&E services to resolve design clashes and site discrepancies.
- Attend project meetings and follow up on architectural matters with relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and resolve architectural coordination issues and construction constraints.
- Follow up on technical submissions, material approvals, inspections and outstanding architectural matters.
- Ensure architectural works comply with approved specifications, authority requirements and project quality standards.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in architectural coordination within the construction industry, preferably with an A1 Main Contractor.
- Experience in building construction projects.
- Good knowledge of architectural drawings, construction detailing, material submissions and site coordination.
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for the Architectural Lead position.
