Shift A —— 6.45am to 4.25pm (1-2 times perweek) Shift B ——7.45am to 5.24pm 5 days a week ( up to 44 hours a week ) One rest day One off day – OT have 1.5 14 Annual Leave & and free staff meal

About the role
We are looking for a Donor Relations Officer tohandle donor inquiries, donation processes, and cashiering duties. Proficiencyin both English and Mandarin Chinese is required for daily communication withour predominantly Mandarin-speaking donors and visitors. The ideal candidateshould be detail-oriented and comfortable working in a temple environment. Joinus if you enjoy interacting with people!
What you'll bedoing
Customer Service& Donor Support
- Provide front-desk assistance to walk-in visitors and donors.
- Manage and respond to phone and email inquiries professionally and promptly.
Donation &Fund Collection
- Oversee donation processes, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Perform cashiering duties, handling cash, cheques, NETS, and credit card transactions.
- Maintain accurate donor records and generate reports as needed.
Administrative& Financial Duties
- Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Track and manage inventory of adoption items, ensuring proper documentation.
- Prepare daily settlement reports for submission to the finance department.
- Audit cash register float, NETS cards, and other financial items in the front office.
What we'relooking for
- Minimum qualification of 'N' Level or 'O' Level (or equivalent) and above.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Candidates with relevant experience will be considered for the Executive role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general administrative tasks.
- Ability to type in Hanyu Pinyin is an advantage for data entry and donor record management.
- Willing to work on rotating weekends, as well as during key temple events and public holidays (e.g., Chinese New Year, Vesak Day) as required.
- Workplace is in the Chinatown area. Candidates are expected to be comfortable working in a temple environment.
