*Job Summary*

*Responsibilities*

• Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold health and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items for easy access by kitchen staff.
• Assist in the disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks when needed, including organizing supplies and assisting with food prep cleanup.
• Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely turnover of dishes during busy service periods.
• Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment that aligns with hospitality standards.

*Qualifications*

• Previous experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and food handling safety regulations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads of dishware or cleaning supplies.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen operations, including food preparation or cooking experience, is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Experience working in hotel or hospitality settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
