Senior Cook (Bali only)

COOK / SUSHI COOK WANTED

We are looking for an experienced cook to join our team in Canggu.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a Japanese restaurant or with Japanese cuisine is required
• Experience making sushi and rolls
• Good skills in preparing and working with fish
• Experience with inventory and stock control
• Good conversational English
• Able to work under pressure and stay focused during busy hours
• Able to handle multiple tasks at the same time
• Responsible, organized and attentive to details
• Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sushi, rolls and other menu items
• Prepare and portion fish and other ingredients
• Follow recipes, portion sizes and kitchen standards
• Control product quality and freshness
• Manage proper storage and labeling of ingredients
• Take part in regular inventory and stock control
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized
