Senior Java Software Engineer | IT Offshore Platform

About the area

The IT Offshore Retail area of BTG Pactual is responsible for the platforms used by the Operations, Business, and end Client teams of the bank's international retail platform. Here you will be able to work and learn about the flows and routines of the business areas, have contact with various products traded in the international market, relate to various strategic external partners for BTG, and work with modern technologies and robust system implementation flows.

In your day-to-day:

Interact directly with internal Operations/Business users of the US brokerage to understand their demands, implement new functionalities, as well as add value to the bank's core business;

You will interface with the technology areas of our external partners to monitor existing integrations and implement new flows, bringing new functionalities to our systems;

Develop new products used by the platform's end clients;

Participate in technical and strategic decisions regarding demand development;

What we expect from you:

Availability to work in a hybrid or in-person manner at one of our offices located in Faria Lima/SP

Mandatory completed higher education, preferably in Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields;

Experience with Java, Design Patterns, and Microservices Architecture;

Knowledge of Containers, Kubernetes, and Microservices;

Knowledge of different types of messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc);

Knowledge of AWS technologies (EKS, SNS, SQS, S3, DocumentDB, Secret Manager, API Gateway, Lambda, Dynamo, etc);

Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, DocumentDB, Redis);

Desirable knowledge of the financial market;

Good interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with different areas of the company

Intermediate/advanced English;
