Operational Risk Analyst | Incidents

About the area:

The Operational Risk area acts transversally throughout the institution, promoting the management of operational risks and the continuous evolution of the Bank's processes and controls.

The team is responsible for coordinating the management of operational incidents, evaluating events that have already materialized and potential risks that may impact the institution's processes. We work in partnership with other areas of the bank to understand causes, assess impacts, and implement solutions that reduce recurrences and strengthen the control environment, contributing to safer, more efficient, and scalable processes.

In your day-to-day:

Perform the process of capturing, analyzing, and recording operational incidents together with the various areas of the institution;

Conduct root cause analyses, identifying offending factors and opportunities for improvement;

Monitor the evolution of incidents and risks through indicators, trends, and recurring analyses of the historical database;

Follow up on action plans and risk mitigation initiatives, ensuring the evolution of treatments and compliance with agreed deadlines;

Prepare executive presentations and materials for management, risk, and governance forums;

Develop and monitor KPIs for risk monitoring;

Prepare management and regulatory reports related to Operational Risk.

What we expect from you:

Completed higher education, preferably in Engineering, Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related areas;

Experience in operational risk, process mapping, incident management, or similar functions;

Analytical, critical, investigative profile oriented toward problem-solving;

Good communication, ability to interact with different areas, and fast learning;

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools;

Advanced English;

Knowledge of Power BI or data analysis tools will be considered a differentiator.
