About the area:

The Operational Risk and Internal Controls area is responsible for identifying, assessing, and monitoring operational risks, whether potential or materialized, in conjunction with other areas of the Bank, ensuring alignment with the institution's risk appetite. It acts in the assessment of processes and internal controls, the identification of improvement opportunities, and the preparation of analyses that support management and decision-making. The scope of the area also covers business continuity, operational resilience, third-party management, and support for regulatory themes applicable to the European entity.

The position will be based in Brazil, with activities directed toward BTG Europe (the Bank's European entity). The work occurs transversally, in constant interaction with business, risk, technology, operations, finance, and other control functions, considering processes, requirements, and practices applicable to the European environment.

In your day-to-day:

Map and analyze processes of the European entity, identifying control gaps, automation levels, risks, and vulnerabilities;

Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs, KRIs, and other operational risk indicators;

Support projects, initiatives, and action plans aimed at risk mitigation and strengthening controls;

Capture, record, and analyze operational incidents, evaluating causes, trends, and risk evolution;

Prepare management analyses, regulatory reports, and presentations for senior management, focusing on themes related to the European entity;

Map critical processes and support activities related to business continuity management and operational resilience;

Support the approval flow for new products and services;

Execute activities related to third-party management, including risk assessments, monitoring of action plans, and support for governance applicable to the European entity;

What we expect from you:

Completed higher education, preferably in Engineering, Administration, Economics, or related fields;

Analytical, organized, questioning, and proactive profile, with good communication skills, flexibility, and fast learning;

Experience in process mapping, risk identification and assessment, internal controls, and incident management;

Knowledge of market best practices for assessing inherent and residual risks;

Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools;

Advanced English, with verbal and written communication skills;

Desirable experience in the financial market, preferably in an offshore environment or with exposure to regulated entities outside of Brazil.

Differentiators:

Experience in third-party risk management, technology risks, or operational resilience themes;

Knowledge of SQL, VBA, Power BI, or other programming languages;

Knowledge of other languages.
