About the area:

The Credit Risk area is responsible for the analysis, monitoring, and management of the credit risks of the bank's clients, ensuring portfolio quality and adherence to BTG Pactual's internal and regulatory policies across all business areas: Special Situations, CnS, DCM, Flow, Comodities, Sertrading, Insurance, among others. We actively participate in the structuring of various operations, from their origination, helping to make operations viable and always optimizing the "risk-return" for the Bank. We act strategically and proactively to support the safe expansion of business, offering technical support and decisions aligned with the bank's vision of sustainable growth.

In your day-to-day:

Analysis and approval of credit operations for clients from various areas, especially Special Situations and its various strategies;

Continuous monitoring of the credit portfolio and Special Situations portfolios (i.e. precatórios and claims), identifying risks and proposing mitigators;

Development and improvement of risk assessment models and credit policies;

Direct interface with internal areas (i.e. commercial, legal, and compliance) and with clients to assist in the structuring and subsequent approval of proposed operations;

Preparation of management reports for senior leadership with risk, exposure, and portfolio performance indicators;

Strategic support for the definition of limits and risk mitigation strategies;

Analysis of macroeconomic scenarios and their impact on the portfolio;

Participation in credit committees and other decision-making instances;

Optimization of processes and implementation of risk analysis tools.

What we expect from you:

Degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or related fields;

Solid experience in credit risk analysis and management, preferably in the middle market segment;

Deep knowledge of the financial market and banking credit policies;

Advanced English;

Advanced Excel and skill with BI tools and data analysis;

Strong analytical capacity and strategic vision;

Ability for leadership and team development;

Excellent communication, interpersonal relationships, and teamwork;

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple demands simultaneously;

Legal and restructuring knowledge will be considered a differentiator.
