Operations Analyst | Cash Management
About the area:
The Cash Management area is responsible for controlling all cash flows of BTG Pactual Cayman Branch, involving operations with clients and the proprietary desk, providing support to the Asset and Liability Management (ALM) desk.
The scope is focused on offshore movements (ex-Brazil) with control and monitoring of the impacts of settlement inflows and outflows. In this structure, there is an opportunity to get to know various types of financial products as well as proximity to business areas, market players in the offshore scope, and contact with BTG entities in their various locations, in addition to the core in Brazil.
We are at a moment of great focus on the offshore market and the creation of transformational projects, both for new businesses and in the evolution of the robustness of current controls; for this, we need professionals committed to this change.
In your day-to-day:
Interface with ALM (Treasury) - reconciliation, monitoring, and explanation of cash impacts;
Interface with external bankers - monitoring the settlement of operations;
Reconciliation of operations between proprietary accounts within BTG Cayman;
Monitoring the Settlement of Wires to Market (SWIFT)
Reconciliation of Receivables and addressing to internal teams;
Management of Non-Identified Operations (NID) and addressing to internal teams;
Monitoring the Banking Channels Registration workflow;
Sending reports to various areas of the bank regarding cash flows;
Development and optimization of internal processes;
Active participation in projects to improve internal tools;
Contact with back-office, treasury, business desks, legal, finance, technology, compliance, etc. teams.
What we expect from you:
Completed degree, preferably in Administration, Accounting, Economics and/or Engineering or related areas;
Advanced English;
Good knowledge of the financial market;
Knowledge and previous experience with Excel;
Knowledge in programming (SQL, Python) will be considered a differentiator;
In-person work in São Paulo – Av. Faria Lima;
Ability to concentrate and handle multiple demands (Multitasking profile);
Good interpersonal relationships;
Commitment, proactivity, and creativity.
