Compliance Analyst PL | PLD Monitoring

About the area:

The Compliance area at BTG Pactual represents a fundamental pillar of the organizational structure, characterized by its independence and global scope. We are responsible for supervising and ensuring compliance across all business areas and segments of the group, addressing critical issues such as Prevention of Money Laundering (PLD), combating corruption, adherence to current regulations, as well as the continuous monitoring of these practices in the operational routine of BTG Pactual.

In your day-to-day:

Analysis of atypical financial movements of PF, PJ, and Private clients (PLD/FT alerts);

Elaboration and maintenance of Compliance controls and reports;

Support in the preparation of materials for collegiate decisions (when applicable);

Interaction and alignment with internal areas for clarifications and validations;

Communication of suspicious movements to COAF, according to regulatory criteria;

Participation in the study and continuous adjustments of monitoring rules.

What we expect from you:

Degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields;

Previous experience in PLD/FT monitoring, fraud prevention, or related areas in banks, fintechs, or bets;

Advanced Excel (mandatory);

Familiarity with SQL and/or Python to run simple queries and ready-made scripts (strong differentiator);

Good analytical capacity and ease in dealing with large volumes of data;

Knowledge of the financial market;

Intermediate English;

PQO Compliance certification, or immediate commitment to obtain it;

ACAMS certification will be a differentiator;

Availability to work 100% in person.
