Job Overview We are looking for a Business Process Analyst Intern to join our AI Transformation team and support the company in analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes. In this role, you will work closely with different departments to understand how work is currently being done, identify inefficiencies, and design improved processes that can later be supported by automation and AI solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Process Discovery & Documentation
- Work with business teams to understand current workflows and operational practices.
- Conduct interviews and collect requirements from process owners and stakeholders.
- Document AS-IS processes using flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, BPMN, or other process mapping techniques.
- Identify process owners, PICs, approval points, SLAs, inputs, outputs, and dependencies.
- Process Analysis & Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks, redundant steps, manual activities, duplicated work, and process risks.
- Analyze root causes of process problems.
- Propose TO-BE processes and improvement opportunities.
- Support the definition of business rules, approval logic, SLA, exception handling, and responsibilities.
- AI & Automation Opportunity Identification
- Work with the AI team to identify processes that may benefit from AI or automation.
- Analyze repetitive and time-consuming tasks and propose potential AI use cases.
- Help prioritize opportunities based on business impact, feasibility, and effort.
- Support the creation of an AI/Automation Opportunity Map for business processes.
- Project & Implementation Support
- Support Businesses during process improvement projects.
- Prepare process documentation, requirement documents, SOPs, and user guides.
- Support UAT and validate whether implemented solutions meet business requirements.
- Track process improvement actions and follow up with stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Final-year student or fresh graduate in Business Administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields;
- Strong logical and analytical thinking;
- Comfortable working with different departments and stakeholders;
- Basic understanding of business processes and workflow concepts;
- Willingness to learn AI, automation, and digital transformation.
