BT-Systems is a specialist and general contractor for plant engineering in the field of warehouse technology and intralogistics, as well as automation technology, image processing, control cabinet construction, electrical industry assembly, and service. For our intralogistics division ECE-LOG, we are looking for committed individuals to strengthen our highly qualified staff in the following position!

1 Technical Project Buyer Plant Engineering

Your area of responsibility:

• Independent execution of project purchasing across competence centers for plant engineering projects (national and international)

• Procurement of technical components, assemblies, and services, taking into account quality, costs, and deadlines

• Contract design, quotation evaluation, price negotiations, and contract conclusions with suppliers

• Close cooperation with project management, engineering, quality assurance, and logistics

• Monitoring and evaluation of procurement markets and development of procurement strategies

• Risk management and claim management within the project context

• Participation in department-related as well as cross-location optimization projects

• Supplier management and further development of the existing supplier network

Your profile:

• Completed commercial or technical training (HTL, FH)

• At least 3 years of professional experience in technical purchasing, ideally in plant engineering or mechanical engineering

• Very good MS-Office and English skills

• Self-organization, resilience, and commitment

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

• Willingness to travel (max. 5%)
