For an established industrial company in Obernburg, we are looking for, at the

earliest possible date:

Strategic Buyer - Cluster Management (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for a defined procurement cluster: from

strategy development to supplier selection and continuous

supplier development

• Independent execution of market, cost, and risk analyses as well as

identification of new procurement sources and optimization potential

• Conducting price and contract negotiations as well as concluding

framework agreements with national and international suppliers

• Development and implementation of bundling, standardization, and

cost optimization measures

• Participation in make-or-buy decisions in close cooperation with the

specialist departments

• Management of strategic escalations as well as conducting

supplier evaluations and performance reviews

• Active participation in interdisciplinary and international procurement

and optimization projects

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of Industrial Engineering (m/f/d),

Business Administration (m/f/d), Supply Chain Management (m/f/d) or a

comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement – whether as a Category

Manager (m/f/d), Purchasing Manager (m/f/d) or Commodity Manager (m/f/d),

ideally with a background in mechanical or plant engineering

• Demonstrable success in strategic negotiations and in

supplier development

• Strong technical and business understanding as well as

an analytical, solution-oriented way of working

• Strong communication skills and a confident appearance towards internal and external

stakeholders

• Proficient use of ERP systems and MS Office

• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
