Process Improvement Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- You will take responsibility for optimization, scale-up, and investment projects, from technical conception and economic analysis to successful implementation.
- You will analyze existing production and supply processes and develop measures for the sustainable improvement of safety, product quality, plant availability, productivity, as well as energy and resource efficiency.
- You will develop technical concepts, create feasibility studies, and evaluate investment projects.
- You will accompany the introduction of new products and production processes until their successful implementation into production operations.
- You will analyze production key figures, identify potential for improvement, and implement sustainable optimization measures.
- You will conduct root cause analyses for process disturbances, quality deviations, and production losses.
- You will evaluate new technologies, processes, and production concepts and accompany their introduction.
- You will work closely with production, technology, laboratory, and engineering, as well as with external engineering firms, suppliers, and service providers.
What You Bring
- You have a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, production technology, or a comparable technical field.
- You have several years of professional experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry.
- You bring experience in project management as well as in the optimization of process engineering processes.
- Ideally, you have already introduced new production processes or accompanied scale-up projects.
- You have knowledge of AutoCAD as well as MS Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and process control systems is an advantage.
- You communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken.
- You work analytically, structurally, and solution-oriented, and you enjoy advancing technical issues together with different specialist departments.
