Bruno Art Group, established in 1909 with its headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel is an international art house with galleriesand offices in Israel, Singapore, India, UK and the USA. The company exhibits avariety of original works by leading contemporary artists, Masters andpromising up-and-coming artists. Bridging the gap between cultures through art,Bruno Art Group works with Israeli and international artists in providing access to and exposure to artists on a global scale to support the incredible variety and range of client preferences and project needs throughout the world. In 2010, Bruno Art Group opened its flagship gallery in Singapore, solidifyingits presence in Asia expanding to India and Korea.
SERVICESPROVIDED
This is a client-facing role; the priority is always to ensure the client has a pleasant experience at and dealing with Bruno Gallery. The Manager will interact with a variety of people, including but not limited to artists, architects, interior designers, and customers (Singaporeans, tourists and clients abroad) and must represent BRUNO Gallery in a respectable manner.
Scope of Work:
Theresponsibilities and tasks to be performed in order to run the Gallery can bedivided into four main categories detailed hereafter:
Conduct and ManageSales:
- To welcome clients, provide information about artwork and artists on display, as well as those included in the company portfolio;
- To collect visitor information to follow-up,provide presentation tailored to unique interests and specifications;
- To respond to enquiries over the phone and via email, building prospective client relationship;
- To ensure smooth sales transaction, ensuring client is pleased with interaction with BRUNO Gallery fromstart to finish.
Exhibitions andEvents:
- To organize exhibitions and events inside and outside the Gallery (e.g. hotels, culturalcenters, urban art projects, members clubs) from start to finish;
- To select, together with the group’s owner, the artworks and artists to be included,considering appropriate and unified theme, concept and installation site;
- To produce promotional material for the artists and exhibition/event (leaflet, presspack);
- To market the exhibition to appeal to the public at-large (PR in magazine/s newspaper/s,Mailchimp, socialmedia, meet with the press);
- To arrange transportation, installation and de-installation of work to and from the Gallery;
- To choose and arrange the display and layout, taking into consideration framing needs, stands, lighting;
- To liaise with Gallery's clientele to pre-sale art, providing early access to existing clients and those that have shown an interest in involved artwork and artists;
- To organize the opening, including but not limited to, guest list, food & drink, parking, photographer,staff support, added amenities;
- To prepare overall project road map, ensuring associated staff is aware of and understanding of respective responsibilities and deadlines;
- To sell artworks and deliver properly at the completion of exhibition/event/art fair;
- To prepare and maintain plan of exhibition and events for the next 4-6 months.
Marketing:
- To market actively to individual and corporate potential clients in Singapore, including the promotion of Gallery activities and events (social media, newsletters etc.);
- To produce and maintain updated Gallery catalogue and promotional materials;
- To identify the correct POCs and decision makers in organization;
- To organize meetings with clients, preparing relevant information in advance;
- To liaise with the main Singapore museums and cultural institutions to create collaborations;
- To propose sponsorship and organization of client events;
- To attend art fairs and auctions in Singapore (art events in general).
AdministrativeManagement:
- To manage updatedinventory (stock, invoices, price list);
- To manage updated contact/client list;
- To oversee purchases, working in coordination with accounting;
- To organize deliveries to the client, including packaging and transportation;
- To update artist material, including biography and CV;
- To conduct tax report (what tax rate applies in what circumstance, know who gets charged whattax rate);
- To produce reporting of activity, including monthly normalcies and special events;
- To manage staffand individual time;
- To be responsive in communicating with the other galleries of Bruno Art Group and headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Schedule:
6 Working Days and 8 Working Hours pay day.
In case of overseas assignment, the following will be provided:
- Round trip economy tickets
- Hotel accommodation (moderate class)
- Transport for work-related travel (with receipts and report submission)
- Food (subject to a cap, depending on the country)
