- Technical support and further development of the Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & Ventilation Technology area in shipbuilding
- Development of technical concepts as well as creation of specifications for approval and procurement processes
- Independent design and calculation of the systems
- Definition, coordination, and processing of interfaces to suppliers
- Evaluation of offers and creation of well-founded decision proposals considering technical risks and costs
- Review and approval of design documents from suppliers
- Creation and control of schematic piping plans according to construction specifications and classification regulations
- Preparation and verification of 3D models in the area of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & Ventilation Technology
- Technical coordination with customers, system suppliers, and internal departments
- Close cooperation with design teams and production
Your Qualifications
- Completed technical or scientific studies or comparable technician training
- Several years of professional experience in the field, ideally in shipbuilding
- Confident handling of regulations and guidelines (Classification, SOLAS)
- Sound knowledge of AutoCAD and proficient use of MS Office
- Good English skills in speaking and writing
- Independent, responsible way of working, assertiveness, and strong communication and teamwork skills
